Lahore, 13 May 2022: TransGroup FZE won the highest bid for various partnership rights for the upcoming international men’s and women’s home series during the 2022-23 season after a public bidding process.
The winning bid, which exceeded the PCB’s reserve price, represented a 77 percent increase in value over the previous season.
This comes after the Pakistan Cricket Board announced a jam-packed 12-month schedule that includes the first-ever ICC Women’s Championship matches on Pakistani soil as well as two visits each from England and New Zealand men’s teams.
“The surge in partnership rights for our international home season highlights a strong market interest, which Pakistan cricket has generated by successfully hosting top international teams coupled with strong on-field performances,” said Chief Executive Faisal Hasnain.
