Six city-based franchise teams will compete in the 19-match competition at Gaddafi Stadium from October 6 to 21, with players chosen through a draught system and each dugout featuring an iconic player who will serve as the world-class team’s mentor or coach like Sir Viv Richards, Younis Khan and Shahid Afraid.

Following that, the PCB will begin a bidding process for live-streaming rights after Eid Al-Fitr or in the month of May. As the PCB remains committed to working closely with all stakeholders in order to move Pakistan cricket forward, this will be one of several rights up for grabs.

This will be the first t20 league of its nature, with local under-19 cricketers sharing dugouts with international players as part of their learning process and improving cricket skills, sharing knowledge, and laying the groundwork for future bonding. As part of the concept, each foreign cricketer will be allowed to bring a parent along, with the event organizer or his franchise covering the cost.
