The U19 City Cricket Association Tournament 2022-23, which runs from May 21 to June 4, will feature ninety-three teams from across the country. The 50-over tournament is intended to provide young players with an opportunity to not only impress selectors for the upcoming PCB U19 three-day and one-day tournaments but also to qualify for the inaugural Pakistan Junior League, which will be held in Lahore from October 6 to 21.
According to the event format, each City Cricket Association will be divided into groups based on the number of cities in the association, with each Cricket Association having a champion.
Central Punjab 16, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 19, Northern 11, Sindh 17, and Southern Punjab 14 are the 13 City Cricket Associations in Balochistan. However, as is customary, each of the three Lahore Zones will field two teams, bringing the total number of teams in the tournament to 93.

CCAs in Balochistan, Northern Punjab, and Southern Punjab have been divided into three groups. The top three scorers will compete in a triangular series, with the team with the most points being declared the winner.
Central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh teams will be split into four groups. The group leaders from each Cricket Association will compete in knockout rounds to determine a champion team.
The tournament will be broadcast live on CricHQ and will be covered digitally. The squads for all 93 teams will be revealed in due time.
